CompassFDE™ e' un sistema automatico AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) che simultaneamente riceve/invia dati da/a postazioni remote (posizionamento, allarmi ed altro) dai tutti i veicoli di una flotta aziendale tramite i differenti sistemi di comunicazione disponibili. I dati sono ricevuti/inviati per l'archiviazione e la gestione in tempo reale via internet o intranet su protoccoli TCP/IP e XML.

CompassFDE gestisce apparati AVL installati a bordo di autoveicoli, apparati di posizionamento, localizzazione, e isstemi computerizzati di dispatch (CAD: computer-aided dispatch).
