When Telelink is installed, how much does it cost
me daily?
Nothing: Telelink doesn’t require subscription/monthly
fee so the user pays for the service tokens actually used to
access location based services.

What happens if somebody steals my car keys?
You can take advantage of the 2nd level of security supplied
by P.I.M.: without the presence of P.I.M. on board, the engine
will not start.

What happens if I lose my PIM?
There is no problem: you can manually switch off the system
by using a password protected routine.

Is it possible to monitor if certain vehicles leave a restricted
area?
Yes, it is: with a simple command the user can define and set
up the area (latitude/longitude) to be controlled.

Is it possible to monitor the speed of the vehicle?
Yes, it is: with a simple command it is possible to query the
vehicle’s speed and set the maximum speed limit, receiving
notifications when this is exceeded.

Can I stop the vehicles?
Yes, as per the European laws, i.e. after the engine is switched
off, it can no longer be restarted.

How reliable can Telelink be, being based on the exchange of
Short Messages over GSM networks?
SMS’ reliability is guaranteed by the Mobile Network Operator
(eg., Vodafone in UK) the user is registered with. To send and
receive Short Messages, a very limited coverage is needed, even
less than the one necessary to make a voice call, so only in
total absence of signal will the service be temporarily inhibited.
