1. After clicking on the link below you will
be asked whether you wish to Run/Open this file or Save it.
2. Click on the Run/Open option to proceed -
refer to the screen snapshots below.
For Microsoft Windows 98SE, Me and 2000
For Microsoft Windows XP and 2000
3. The installer will be downloaded and start running automatically.
4. It is very important to follow the step by step instructions
given to install the Service Pack.
To miss a step may mean that the SmartST Professional application
will not work reliably.
The important steps during the Service Pack installation are:
a. Ensure that SmartST Professional Version 1.9x is properly
installed onto your iPAQ and has been successfully activated.
b. Remove the Navman GPS sleeve from your iPAQ.
c. Software reset your iPAQ by pressing and releasing the reset
button on the bottom right hand edge of your iPAQ.
d. Place the newly reset iPAQ into your Active Sync cradle.
e. Press the Next button on the Service Pack installer application.
f. After successful installation of the Navman SmartST Professional
Service Pack, remove the iPAQ from the Active Sync cradle.
g. Refit the Navman GPS sleeve onto your iPAQ.
h. Software reset your iPAQ by pressing and releasing the reset
button on the bottom right hand edge of your iPAQ.
i. You are now ready to use SmartST Professional (with Service
Pack installed).
